100k Maintenance Time

So my 07 328xi coupe is coming around time for the usual maintenance. Im looking to do oil change, transfer case fluid, auto trans fluid and possibly differential fluid. Can anyone tell me if mobil 1 ATF while work for my trans? Im sure its just the GM or lower grade trans but, im trying to save money where ever I can because im only 18. Also trying to find a decent priced transfer case fluid along with Auto trans filter. Anyone know any good products or places to buy?

If you want to save money, don't use Mobil 1 ATF. Just go to your local auto parts store and get dexron VI compatible fluid

not sure if you did them already, but 100k maint. on the 328 also includes spark plugs.

I am still undecided on if I will replace the transfer, diff, and trans fluid when my car hits 100k.... I know replacing trans fluid is sometimes considered a no-no for a properly working trans.

I have a MT, so not sure it that still apply's or not.I know Mike Millers old school maint. says to do the diff and trans fluid at 100k, but I am not really if I will or not... ?

if you have a GM transmission, as noted, Dexron VI.

I bought some Dexron VI a few months ago from Walmart. Cost me a wopping $4 a quart.

Here is transmission filter.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Have it in your cart and wait couple days. It shows $56 now but it was dropped to $47.39 yesterday. Forgot to order them yesterday so I'm going to wait couple more days.
Any Dexron VI will work.

I'm at 79k now planning ahead for 100k maintenance.
Flushed brake fluid and power steering. Easy DIY job cost me $40 for both fluids(with left over for next maintenance).

Diff fluid should be synthetic so I'm guessing transfer will be too.

About $80-90 for transmission fluid change(with filter)
$20 for power steering + $20 for brake fluid
$60 for sparkplugs
$20 for transfer and diff fluids

People recommend changing out coil when switching out sparkplugs(about $200)
Pray that waterpump will last another 100k.

We recently did the VCG which included us also changing out the plugs due to the fact that oil had spilled down into the plug holes. And by Dexron VI fluid, what brand makes that? Im sure my dad would know but, I just wanted to know for personal reference.

Dexron VI is not a brand but a classification of fluid which states that the fluid meets the needed requirements of Dexron VI (whatever those may be) .
