Question New to Engine tuning

Hello to everyone on E90Post,
I have had my 07 AW 335i (Auto) e93 for 8 months now and i havnt really done any mods.I really enjoy the power of the car but being a previous 05 sti driver im used to modding for more power.I have tried searching threads on Engine tuning for my car but i just dont understand the differences between Procede or Dinan.. Basicly iv seen cars in this thread with 400hp, is that just with software upgrades or is there more to it? thanks -Jay

With just the PROcede v2, expect close to, if not more than 400BHP; probably ~ 420BHP (+/- 10BHP) & ~ 450 lb.-ft. TQ. With just an AA XEDE and JB2, it would be approx. 370-390BHP.

The car lends itself very well to modding. Great platform, with lots more to come.

Well, one major difference between the vishnu procede and dinan's tuning is that the procede actually exists. I wouldn't even waste my time with waiting on dinan's flash or piggyback or whatever they actually come out with since i'm willing to bet that it will be double the price for half the performance. Right now there are a few piggyback's on the market that are worth looking into. They include the Vishnu Procede, Active Autowerke Xede, and the upcoming Helix Attache (still being tested/finalized). Many people on the forum are running either a TurboTuner or a JB2 (juicebox 2) with good results, but I prefer a piggyback personally. If you search there is a TON of info on all of these tunes on the forum.... have fun reading.
