The 1st one you are on about is a vehicle inspection , you take it to the dealers and then they check it over, think the charge is around an hours labour, they will I form you if anything needs doing.

This is a bit of a grey area. Its meant to be any vat registered garage using genuine BMW parts but I think someone on here put up the AUC documents and it said it had to be at a BMW dealer only.It will certainly affect any goodwill claims in future( out of warranty)

Yes basically. On normal servicing it's 'quick in quick out' so levels etc/ tyre pressures/don't get done but do on this one.Its called a 'vehicle check' as it's getting a check over lol

Has anyone got a tick list of what they actually check, is it a physical thing, suspension, bushes, bodywork, tyre wear, brakes, levels etc or is it the usual, plug in the computer and then try and charge you $$$$$$$$$ for something you probably don't need ?
