I received a letter from one of the local dealerships in SF bay area inviting me to their Spring Service Clinic where they will perform a free Vehicle Condition Report. The letter states, "With your vehicle condition report, a complete visual inspection with one of our BMW trained technicians will be performed on your vehicle to check your Engine, Electrical, Body, Undercarriage/DriveTrain, and Interior."

Has anyone been to one of these free service clinic days? How was your experience?

Did one here in San Diego. They tell you what's wrong with your car and why, plus the $50 gift card they gave me and a gift bag didn't hurt as well

Thanks for the feedback. i was wondering what the "BMW gift" is going to be if I do attend.

The gift was a bag with BMW window cleaner and a trial kit of a couple other things (cleaners)

Everything was good except the oil housing gasket, they ever showed me why it was failing. Had some drips running.

I went to the Spring Service Clinic today and overall it was a good experience! The people in charge of greeting and directing guests over to the waiting area weren't very organized and left some people confused, but in the end it worked out. I was able to talk to the mechanic and walk over to their work area/garage and check out what it looks like in the back. My mechanic, Andy, went through a visual check on the car as I watched. He said my car is in very good shape besides one minor oil leak, which is a relief to hear. Talked to some nice BMW owners and saw some BMW accessories that I didn't know exist such as the BMW shark. The cars that I saw coming in for the free inspection were an M3 convertible, M3 coupe, x3, e90 335i, 328i, and some other older models.
