330d LCI running between 92 & 96 degrees?
I opened the hidden menu this morning to test the coolant temperature.
I currently achieve between 36 & 37mpg which seems reasonable as I do drive the car hard. I set off on a 20 mile journey to work this morning. The first 10 miles were motorway and we reached around 92 degrees. The next 5 miles were country and the temperature was between 92 & 94 generally with a peak of 96 when I really nailed it. After 5 miles of town; I switched the car off at 92. How do these figures look and would a thermostat change give an appreciable increase in MPG? |

Temperature looks spot on so it's nothing wrong with the thermostat.
