front brake disk diameter ?
According to realOEM front disks on my 2009 LCI E91 330D are part number 34116855000.
Most websites say I have 330mm diam disks but some say 348mm. Without taking the wheel off a crude quick measure put them bigger than 330mm. I wonder did BMW start putting 335D disks on the 330D in 2009 ? This might explain the different sizes quoted on different websites. Anyone know what size I have ?

Thanks, Ive been searching for disks and pads and its all got got a bit confusing with the 330 using 335 components.
Anyway Ive got down the Mtech disks and Brembo HP2000 Sport Pad route - awaiting their delivery.

I've not looked into upgrades as yet as I've just managed remove what felt like warping from my 330 due to the previous owner with lots of spirited braking. |

Im told that in fact disk rarely actually warp but over-heated pads can leave pad material on the disk which causes a raised area and the sensation of warped disks. You seem to have removed that material and "re-bedded" the pads - always worth a try before declaring the disks as shot.

My experience dates back to putting Audi TT disks and calipers on our Fabia VRS - only the Fabia VRS could take the upgrade as it had a different hub to other Fabias.

I will be ordering some for my 330D. Its pre-LCI and looking at the bmw system, bmw started using 335D brakes on 330D from 09/2007.
Jules, where are you getting Brembo HP2000 Sport Pad from? Also, I asked the opinion of Mtec brakes few years ago and feedback was negative. Have you used these before?

Ive found good and bad reports for all the disk makes Ive been looking at eg MTech, EBC, OEM, Nitrac - they seem to be rather like Marmite. I like Marmite so I thought Id give MTech a go. The HP2000 Pads are OEM replacements so the disks dont have to be made from anything amazing.
