Tire Recommendtion for E9X 18" M3 wheels on E90 330i

I just got a set of OEM 18s from a 2011 M3 for my 2006 330i.

I got rid of the stock PS2's and am looking for some tires. I'm going to run 245/35 up front and 265/35 in the rear.

Here are the factors:

- must be quiet
- must be all-season
- not looking to spend more than $200 per tire

Any help would be appreciated!!

What size tires did you end up going with? Any pics?

I'm looking for stock 18' M3 wheels as well.

after some research, I'm gonna go with the same M3 stock sizes (245/40 and 265/40) on Sumitumo HTR ZIII.

Anyone have any other recommendations?

=/ I don't even know what all seasons are. But I'd take Continental DWS over Sumitumos.

Great tires for the price, but they are not all season tires so stay out of the snow with them.

Don't get those sizes. Search for 219M E90 and you'll find a guy who has the same wheels as you but he swapped out the tires for smaller sidewalls. Looks much better and doesn't rub if you get the 35 series tires instead of the 40.

I read his write-up, however the x-factor is that he is lowered on Eibachs. I have stock ZSP, so I think I should be fine. Plus, he's running 40-series up front and 35-series in back. I agree, it looks sick!

Thanks for the heads-up......good catch

Front sizing should be 225/40R18. Rear should be 255/35R18 or 265/35R18. Top choice in those sizes for an all season tire with a quite ride and lower price would be the Yokohama Avid Envigor.

Gary...........wouldn't that be a stretch from the 245 (in front) in OEM/factory config?

Maybe a bit of a stretch on an 8.5" wheel, but I'm concerned about 245/40R18 rubbing up front on the fender with a wheel that wide with 29mm offset. The M3 has more space to work with up there. Even 235/40R18 might rub occasionally with that setup. Keep in mind that front M3 wheel is as wide and more aggressive of an offset as the 335i sport *rear* wheel is. I'm not as concerned about the rear as long as you stick with 255/35R18 or 265/35R18.
