Help me and I'll give you money

my current situation is that the dealership cannot communicate with my car because of two reasons. i have an aftermarket custom stereo (which i always swap out for dealer visits ) and i have recently upgraded my temperature module to a 2011 one. i have taken my car to a dealership many times, only up until recently they encountered a problem, and they said it was my 2011 temp module. i would of never in a million years think a temp module would stop a dealership from programming my car.

however, my request is simple. i will give you x dollar + collateral to swap your 07 temp module for my 2011 temporarily. once i'm done we can swap it back and you return my collateral.

i have done it many times, and i will do it flawlessly and without problems to your interior. i even have extra parts to give you if for whatever reason you are not happy with my insallation - de-installaiton. we can also settle on a price that you are comfortable with.

if this all works out, i will buy an 07 temp module, but before i do i need to make sure this is the reason why they can't communicate with my car before i buy a secondary temp module for 600 dollars.

Can you not just ordering the part from your dealer and returning it if it's not the problem?

prolly not how it works, if he buys a new one and they install it, you wont get a refund.

I highly doubt theres a difference between the coupe and vert.

What made you change it to a 2011 one? does it have different functionality or something?

i have a custom stereo, so my heated seats were temporarily re-located. the 2011 temp module comes with heated seat buttons.
