OEM LED license plate light from LCI E90 does not work on pre-lCI?
I took apart a trunk and components from a LCI E90 and tried putting the OEM license plate lights on my 2006 E90 wiring harness but the plugs are different.
Does anyone know if this is an LCI thing or will it work on a 2007 or 2008 3 series? I'm planning on giving these to a friend who also drives a pre-lCI E90 but newer. |

LCI thing.
Very simple to make a harness and either incorporate a bulb or have some coding done to eliminate errors. DIY coming in a bit, waiting on parts and have a few other things lined up first. |
