Muffler delete
Hey everyone,
I recently performed a muffler delete and quad exhaust conversion on my 328 e92 MT. I heard from a few people about how the muffler delete can potentially cause a loss in back-pressure, and as a result a loss in power. How true is this and realistically how much power would I be losing? Is it noticable? because I feel like I'm having a placebo effect on my mind and I feel like my car is accelerating slightly slower...but maybe it's just in my mind. The rest of my exhaust is still intact, simply just a muffler delete |

Any loss in power will be unnoticeable. Relax
If you haven't modified the exhaust enough to throw a code, you haven't done shit, other than the deeper sound of course. How is the drone, especially on the highway? |

Not bad at all! Having a MT really makes a difference. I've heard automatic e92's with the delete done, and it's pretty unbearable. On my car, the droning gets pretty quiet especially around 80 mph (which is usually the speed I stay around during my commutes). Additionally, the quad piping really serves to mute the sound a lot
