So my KW V3's are only a year old and the front shocks are blown as well as the bump stops with only maybe 10k miles on them due to daily driving back and forth to the city for work here in NY... FML...
Since KW has a ridiculously stupid policy that I can send them in, so they can analyze what went wrong and then fix them and ship them back (like I have spare sport suspension to use in the meantime and want to pay for 2 uninstalls and 2 installs), I was wondering if I bought a front set of say H&R Sports with Bilsteins, and left the rear KW V3's on, would the handling and ride be really off/awkward??? I'm not sending KW anything back, and don't feel like spending an arm and a leg on a whole new suspension... Soooooooooooooo...????? ![]() ![]()

I will start simple.
Do you know the spring rates for new and old springs, compare that first. I am sure it will work but would recommend to adjust the dampening and rebound to complement the new setup. 10K miles that is definitely not normal... good luck |
