Excellent news. Round 1 to general juvenile behaviour. And I can't even remember what you ended up ordering
![]() Saturday is just round the corner Phil. Still time to get those last minute items from Polished Bliss. And don't worry about the weather on the way back. You can play with the auto lights and wipers, satnav and stereo. All wrapped up in that brand new smelling oyster leather loveliness. |

lol. Yes I've spent most of the evening researching various products. I guessing it won't need a polish (at least it had better not need a polish) so it should be a case of a quick snow foam then from HD cleanser. Then I'm thinking some AG HD Wax that I have left. It's always worked for me in the past. Although I'm trying to justify ordering some Swissvax Bleau-Weiss wax that's for BMWs. However, it's £99 a pot! And the HD is good.
I'm definitely going to order to SV leather glaze though. Meant to be superb and I really want to give the Oyster every chance of staying good. Can't wait to play with it all. It's got all the new internet and iPhone toys in it. Not that I really know how that works at the moment. Neither does the dealer. So I'll update everyone next week. Also need to speak to them tomorrow to make sure it's set up for google maps etc etc. Going to start planning a nice long route back from Wilmslow down to Sussex. One thing's for certain I'm going to enjoy the lanes round here in the coming weeks. Just as a reminder I've got coming on Saturday: 330d M Sport, manual, LMB, Oyster, Brushed Aluminium, Pro Nav, Vis pack, Harmon Kardon, DAB, internet, BMW apps, USB this that and the other, elec mirrors, sports seats, part electric seats, lumber support, parking sensors, sun protection glass. Ooo I'd forgotten I'd ordered some of that! Can't wait. |

As I've previously banged on about I'm liking the Werkstat stuff. When I first got mine it was a foam with Megs Hyper Wash, rinse, wash with Werkstat Auto Body Wash, apply Werkstat Prime Acrylic, apply Werkstat Acrylic Jett Trigger. The Jett can be re-applied every few weeks.
Now I just foam, rinse and wash. I've also given it a quick spray with Wekstat Acrylic Glos while the car is still wet prior to drying. I can really recommend one of these too. As far as the internet/Connected Drive stuff is concerned I registered for it online and after a couple of days I got the activation info via text. I think. In fact... Quote:

I'm shallow enough to admit that new cars are right up there with the birth of my children. And getting married. But don't tell SWMBO.
In fact new cars seem to coincide with major events in my life. I think it's a knee jerk reaction to what I perceive as growing up or losing some sort of ill-defined 'freedom'. I think she'd say 'boys will be boys'. rich 1068. Aged 41 3/4. |
