Ya congrats bro, great runs. For some reason I think we were trapping about 2mph slower then we should have. The DA was pretty bad as it was 61% humidity and about 27 degress when we were running so that probably did not help. All I have to say is pump gas sux badly.

That GTR was flat out incredible, 11.01 @ 129mph with just a tune and intake on pump gas. I have a feeling I know what car I will be getting next. What a machine.

I installed my AMS intercooler last night and new tires

I thought I was going to be done in time but it took longer than expected!

How did the evo v12s handle? Thats what I put on last night

nice work guys! I really wish I was able to work something out to come out - but it just didn't happen.

Irish, sounds like we would be a great race in street trim. I agree that racegas is phenomenal (though I have never run it on this car) but to me it is more beneficial and more impressive to get your time down as you drive on the street.

Next time you go out, let me know. Hopefully I can come out.

A lot of people running FBO+METH hate the v12's for straight line launching.... they refer to them as hancraps. For the twisties the v12's are MUCH MUCH better.

I will be honest with you the V12 are total garbage for straight line from a dig. My tires could not hook worth a crap and it was extremely frustrating. I was doing 2nd gear launches, 1st gear launches, 50-60% throttle feathering and not once did I hook well.

Even on my 12.1 @ 117mph run the launch was still suspect. The car has 11s in it in street trim but not on Hankooks. I will be moving to Nitto N555Rs next summer after I run through the treads on these Hankooks.

Yeah I've heard the stories about the v12's from a dig... which is why I ultimately didn't end up purchasing them.

Would love to see the times you pull on the N555R's... should be a SIGNIFICANT improvement... I will probably use a set myself when it gets cooler out and I end up visiting the track.

nothing wrong with Hankooks, you got the wrong ones! I run the Ventus RS-3, and they are the most amazing tires i've ever had. They hook, can handle lots of hard lapping days and autox, are good in the rain, and area cheap as fuck.

Look into them, even maybe for just the rears.

especially not on 19s

I have a set of 18s for that

Hey no worries, was lots of fun. That video of was our worst run of the night. I almost put the car into the wall I lost the rear end so badly. I then downshifted to first then back into second after a botched 2nd gear launch. That was ugly.

LOL... funny 2 it was also my best time that night, that mustang smoked me at the start. By half way I was catching him fast and he beat me by 1/4 of the car at the finish line.

Considering that stang was running slicks and looks like modified for 1/4 mile track I was pretty pleased what my daily drive and probably 800lbs heavier did against it
