Oil Change options
I live in Toronto (midtown area) & I know I can get an oil change at the dealer but i was curious about other alternatives. is it worth it to have this done outside the dealership?
What's been your experience? Thanks! |

Since my car's been out of warranty, have done one oil change outside the dealer. Saved a little money and it was more convenient. They used Mobil one, one of the BMW approved grades and a Mann filter.
My thinking is (in general), if someone here on this blog can do a DIY for a maintenance item (and there is a DIY for oil changes on this site), then a competent mechanic should be able to handle it as well. |

Bimmer Sport. I've done all my oil changes with them that are not covered by warranty. You can PM Jon@Bimmersport Automotive on this forum for details and price.

^^^I'd be all over Bimmersport if I was close. However, doing it yourself is a breeze too.
