1st service @ 20k miles

The first service is now due on my 320d
I was wondering what all is carried out at this service and how much everyone has paid at their individual dealers

I think that is good going for a first service, i sold my 320d M Sport two weeks ago with 12,000 miles on it and the OBC said a further 9000 until the service was due. That was all motorway driving.

The first service is just an oil change and check, I think. I would expect to pay about £150 - £160 at my dealer, that is what I paid for the first service in my E60. Price may be dealer dependant so it is definately worth phoning around to get the best price.

Somewhere you should be able to get a listing of actions taken at each service. On the other hand, since each element has its own service interval based on driving, maybe not. In any event, it can never be too early for a good look-see for any abnormalities that could indicate future problems such as tire wear and leaks. A good lubrication of the greasy parts isn't a bad thing either.

mines done 10K and is showing 14K to next service...until 9.7 it was showing 15k to service.

What's the "standard scope"? Is the "Engine Oil Service" the labour costs?

Scope is hooking it up to their diagnostics and checking all ok. "engine oil service" is labour charge I reckon.
