The following email was sent out to all City of Chicago employees:

On Friday, Mayor Emanuel announced the launch of http://www.chicagobudget.org/, a new interactive website where people across Chicago can engage in the budget process by submitting ideas and discussing solutions. This is a great opportunity for you to make your voices heard by posting your ideas, commenting on suggestions, and voting for your preferences. This website is another way Mayor Emanuel hopes to engage not only residents and taxpayers but city employees as well in a conversation about the future of our city. I look forward to your ideas.

This is your chance to submit ideas or vote on already existing ideas for improving the city. I already submitted 4 ideas mostly regarding streets and transportation.
