Another will it fit thread
I have a e90 xi with H&R coilovers... pre-LCI. I purchased some BBS CH rims. I'm worried about the rear rubbing as I need to purchase some tires and I've never put these on my car previously. The rear rim size is 19x10 et20. Front tires are 235/35/19 and I know I won't rub with those once they are on.
I don't know if I should with 265/275. Would prefer 275's for rolling diameter (though 265's are <1% as well) and I'm afraid of stretching at all and blowing a tire on the highway or something of that nature, unless 265's isn't an aggressive stretch at all. My choices for tires are MichelinPilot Super Sport or Continental ExtremeContact DW base on performance. From what I recall, the Continental tires have a 'bigger' sidewall which will case a rubbing issue. I'm not sure about the Michelin tires though. I know I will need to get my fenders rolled from all the research I did so far but haven't seen any threads with this specific tire setup/rim size. Thanks for the help ahead of time! |

265's will still be fairly square on a 10" wide wheel. You will not have to worry about it being overly stretched by any means.
With a 10 +20, you would want to go with at least a 265. This would already be an aggressive setup. With 275's it will require more fender work. Here is our 19x10 with a 265/30/19 General UHP tire. -Charles@VMRWheels ![]() ![]()

Thanks for the reply back with pictures! The last question is do either of those tires have 'bigger' sidewalks? I have the Conti's do that a size smaller. Can anyone confirm?
