I was only pointing out to you that the affect on crankcase pressure was quantified in testing, so discussing actual design and theorectical affect on backpressure really doesn't matter at this point. You are too funny. |

I've emailed 42DraftDesigns about their OCCs and here's the response I got:

That OCC looks really promising, especially this:

The only thing I don't like about the Stealth Can is that it's not possible to open.
I really want to have the possibility to open it for cleaning and visual checking of the filters. To get that option you'll have to buy the Ultimate Can for $235... |

There's really no filters in there, just mesh screens...i don't think looking inside will ever be valuable...it'd be good but I don't think you'll just ever find anything in there...well, maybe in about 500,000km
Look at the cyclonic chambers in the valve cover you can't peak in there can you? I think the stealth can should be good enough.. |

Maybe I'm just stupid, but that's just how I work. Another thing that I would miss is a dipstick, which also is included with the Ultimate Can. Imagine what would happend if that small drain hole got clogged with gunk when you're trying to empty it? You would think that the can was empty, and that could be VERY dangerous... I know how mine looked at the bottom after only 300 miles. Maybe I'm just overreacting...? Do you think it's possible to order it in a transparant color? Glad the CC investigation is continuing. 42 draft might have a big sales uptick soon.

the problem is the seal....they seal under pressure and when you are under zero load they don't leak.....ASR has fixed this by porting the oil outlet in the the turbos...only if you have their turbos though. having secondary cats helps the problem. BMW doesn't sell the seal for the thrust bearings......they only sell it if you buy the turbos. I had the same issue. its a hit or miss from what I have researched.
