painted grill DIY

got sick from my girlfriend so had to stay home this past weekend.. was bored and browsing the forums ... suddenly relized that black grill looks a lot more aggrasive then chrome grills , so i decided to paint em black..
had a chance to take pics form my cell ( a bit blurry sry ) so here ill post em up.. let me know if u feeling them or not

DUDE!! wtf - i know a lot of people that would have loved to switch out their 325 grills for a 330 chrome grill....


also your going to get rock chips all over that grill.


Other then that - it looks good, looks like a 325 now

It's a speical paint that can be peel off if is needed ... yes it is a 325 already.

woah what kinda grill is that in the first pic? i wanna get my hands on it for my jet black i kinda have a chrome theme going on....i thought the chrome was just one the front of the tips?

they came stock.. ya is just chrome on the tips

i guess u could try chrome paint .. donno how it will work out tho

oh i thought the whole grill was chrome from the pic it looked that way......

Wait...

you have a 325, and it bought it with a chrome grill?

you pretty much changed it back to stock....(all 325/328's) have grills the way yours is now, from the factory??

Did you change out the lower finishing rods too? or did you buy it that way? those should be black too.... Did you buy your car new, from a dealer?

not to take over this thread but oneshare i see you play golf as well.......so what are shooting these days? im playing terrible lately my arm has been killin me though...what kinda clubs are you using?

i bought it that way from new centery bmw dealer, didn't know it shouldn't be chrome ?! haha cool i like the lower rods chrome.. but not the grill



callaways ? which set? im about to get the callaways X-tours .. i hate my clubs .. lol actaully went to hit 18s on sunday

Yea some one changed out grill and lower trim, the lower trim should be an alum color, and the grill should have black slats, someone changed both of them.
(no bmw has chrome finishing rods)

My clubs are about 10 years old, they were my dads old set, he recently got new ones...I have no idea what they are!

BTW, if your looking for really good clubs at a more affordable price, check oout the adams line of irons, idea A2... great irons....
