if some rather run to the 335i's they forgot that they still have 2004-2006 525i/530i/ 2006 325i/330i to work with. Thats a good amount of people. I think its best we wait for the guys who have done a fantastic job with the previous gen e46 and e39 v6 engines. I'm talking some of the well knowns like VF engineering with their supercharger.. i have seen it work on an e36 325i! it moves and shifts sooo smooth!! power power power! it is great! it gave that little bimmer 340hp at the wheel! I strongly believe he can be neck and neck with a 335i.

lol all we need is 1 damn company that can reflash our fucking ECU's to the 330 software...
we can order our own fucking 3 stage intake manifold and other necesary screws...

I DONT GIVE A SHIT WHO DOES IT, its all the same software process reflash in the end, just someone who can do it. this is fuckig ridiculous.

One of the local dealers said that they would sell me the intake manifold no problem, but that I needed the VIN from a 330 to buy the adjuster units. I am sure most of us know someone with a 330 who will be willing to buy the adjuster units for us.

BMW may get suspicious if there is a sudden run on these parts though.

May be somebody here can let us use his VIN but that does not answer the question do that thing work or not. I don’t want to buys this thing install it reflash my ECU just to find out that I get less than 20 hp gain.

Maybe we should contact Turner Motorsport and discuss reflashing the ECU to make it behave like a 330i. They obviously have some knowledge on "Performance software" and the E90.

I thought the adjuster units were part of the 3 stage intake manifold.. ?? can the ecu just be reflashed with the 330 engine at the dealer?

I email APR to see if they would do the reflash but no response..

I have never seen the 1-stage intake in person... but I was under the impression that if somebody could get the flaps and adjuster units that they should be able to just upgrade the single stage intake into a 3-stage by installing said parts. After that, all that would be needed would be the 330i software.

as you can c different part numbers. I guess you can't put the adjusters on the 325 one. Somebody said that you can do it on the early production 325s

Ok here's what ya'll need to do... Find yourself a BMW junkyard... get yourself some intake manifold and DISA adjusters for about 150$... get ur ECU 2 the nearest aftermarket programmer.. and presto.. you can cut the cost of it all in half..

If you've been reading the entire post, you'll see that BMW has made it quite difficult for aftermarket programers to crack.

i think he means that 2-4 years after a car comes out vf engineering will make a supercharger for it which should boost performance drastically, but at a much more expensive price, 5k-8k probably

welll.. yeah but right now... the bang for the buck is not working out with our 325/330 aftermarket options. VF Engineering, I believe, already has one out for the 525i and 530i giving the 530i the 325hp matching the 2004 545i. Which sounds pretty good. The problem with the e90's is that yeah its the same engine but its the different tranny and software used. Also placement of things under the hood. I expected shorter than 3years... I did hear earlier this year about a company who will have a prototype at the least ready buy the end of the summer of this year.
