Sun Protection Glass

I want to remove the dealers sticker from my rear window but I have sun protection glass. Can the sticker be removed without damaging the tint?

I removed my sticker as i just dont like stickers. Looks tidier now. I am a bit of a clean freak though.

Use a glass scraper to lift a corner and then just slowly peal off.

Its pukka dark tinted glass, not stick-on gangsta tint film.

I hate dealer stickers. Who the F##k do they think they are advertising for free on MY car? Putting crooked greasy fingered stickers blocking your rear view? And they look shite too, ruins a clean look.

When I picked up my 330i from the new car collection area in the showroom, the first thing I did was climb in the back seat and remove the dealer sticker, get out of the car and stick it on their copy of the vehicle acceptance paperwork.

I've already told them not to put any on the 335i, we'll have to see what happens there. maybe i could stick it on the salesmans forehead this time?

And me. I don't see why I should carry around an advert for the dealer, especially as they didn't put it on straight in the first place.

Edit - quoted exactly the same time as doughboy, but the sentiment is exactly the same.

Excellent!

Thanks for info.

They stuck it on just under the brake light at the top of the rear window which means i see it everytime I look in the mirror.

It's coming off!

My dealer didn't stick on any of their or the lease companies stickers including the 'do not smoke' one. Just signed the paperwork to say it was done

To be honest, I've never seen a e93 with a sticker in the back. I've got the dealer name on both the number plate and tax disk holder however thats it.

Yeh, i buy my cars from 'Williams BMW' in Manchester, people always look at the plates and say 'cor - is that the Williams F1 team?' I say 'of course it is, mine's tuned by them don't you know?'

800bhp @ 19,000 rpm - easy.

;-)
