Permanent Residue on Cluster?
About a week ago, I was driving and noticed some blemishes on my gauge cluster. I thought it was just oily residue from my rag or something when I cleaned around the dash area.
With my finger I can not rub or smear it away. I also have tried using a microfiber towel with water and even Windex; but still doesn't go away. I'm unsure of what it could have been because it's been here for awhile. What products could I use to clean up this situation? Here is a picture so you guys can get an idea of what it looks like : ![]() Thanks, David |

It looks like a chemical haze cause by something that wasn't supposed to be used
on plastic. You could probably remove it with a variable speed drill and a polish head, along with some plastic polish.

^+100 probably an ammonia based window cleaning product? Try some plexus if you can find it or an OTC plastic cleaner lightly on a decent MF glass cloth first. If not above solution might be needed.
