it started to downpour. I have my car in a car port but the rain splashes in on one side. Any suggestions? I was thinking just let it dry then buff out as usual.

Just buff off. If you have trouble getting it off, apply more AIO over the dried stuff. The solvents in the fresh AIO will bring the dried AIO off in no time.
