You'll need a new map if you want to take advantage of the additional power that the ETS FMIC can support. Otherwise install and drive

The ECU and existing map will adapt to the cooler AITs - this usually results in better performance at high RPMs, as the engine will not get heatsoaked as quickly.
However, if the aftermarket FMIC reduces pressure drop compared to your stock intercooler (which they generally do), you will find that your car produces the same amount of power at lower boost pressures. In this case, you can either be happy that you are taking it easier on your turbos, or get a higher boost map which will then generate more power at the same boost levels you were running prior to installing your new FMIC. |
