I made a box like this but let the car hood act as top sheild, so it was open box when the hood was open.

I was surprised at how much cooler to the touch the actual cones were after a bunch of logs. I think there is tons of potential here....

I made a custom intake from an OEM airbox that I bought from someone that made a box like this.

The pwm meth guys have to be creative now... this is an option, but I would think the pickup ducting would be a limitation also... probably a big one.

You mean Vishnu's PWM Meth kit....I'm PWM but use a Aquamist HFS-3 PWM where the pump is located behind my bumper. There is plenty of room for a custom CAI in my case
