PROcede v1.5 map - Anyone load it?

Anyone loaded the new v1.5 map? Notice any difference over 1.45?

yup... very strange. I feel like I don't get full boost UNTIL my temp reaches 240. Never seen it get above 250 (MT ZSP)

The only boost related change between v1.5 and v1.45 is a slight reduction in max boost pressure in the 2000-2500rpm range as a few cars have exhibited shuddering when lugging the engine in a high gear (ie, full throttle, sixth gear, 50mph and up a hill).

So, 1.45 is better than 1.5?

From what ive read on the vishnu forums it seems some people are having problems with the 1.5

I don't get it, why can't they just downshift? I mean 50mph uphill in 6th gear sounds like they are intentionaly trying to bog the car. I am assuming these are manuals? Step would shift by itself so no issue there.

As we are still waiting for STG 1 map, it would be good to know which is the most aggressive map available at the moment. It is clearly not the latest one. As for the earlier maps, some e.g. 1.3 or 1.2. might be the most aggressive at the max torque, but 1.4 or 1.45 might provide a bit wider powerband close to red line? Does anyone have any hard data?

Who are those driving uphill at 6th at 2000 rpm? Sad if those guys generate a need to use valuable development time to generate a map that they can continue abusing their cars that way and in fact decrease the max torque for all the Procede users.

I would like to have seen the Stage 1 map ready instead of 1.5.

Say you're cruising in 6th at 50mph on the freeway. You need to make a quick point-shoot pass and then revert to cruise mode. I would just squirt the gas and use the prodigious torque.

I loaded the New 1.01 PDE reader in my laptop with the 1.45 Steptronic map in my Procede. It doesn't burn rubber as well. I am going to the drag strip this Friday and would like to load the original 1.40 map or what ever you think would be best, with higher low end boost. I never lug my engine so the stuttering is not a problem. I do have this phenomena of not being able to power brake. I will bring it up to about 1500-2000 RPM and when I release the brake and go WOT it falls of a cliff and then rebounds. This happens regardless of DTC DSC control. Any suggestions? When will you have these maps available for uploading with the new version 1.01 PDE reader? Thanks for your help in this busy time.

Cordially,

Siggy AKA

If you want that map, you will need to use the prior user software because the newer software was required for versions 1.45 and 1.50 and does not work with the prior map versions. The v 1.4 map is located here:

Guess I was just trying to avoid having to have both PDE reader versions to accomplish this as switching maps at the strip could get confusing. Oh well, if that's what it takes.
