Lol, I do almost all of my business meetings at McCormick and Schmicks and I like it. I've never heard of the other mentioned restaurant though....

Try also:

Ben and Jack's: 5th ave location or Midtown

Quality Meats: Midtown.

I've been to Ben and Jack's on 5th. Good service, decent steak. Heard good things about Quality Meats as well.

There's honestly nothing much in NNJ. You want decent dining? Make the trip to NYC.

I've had better experiences at Ruth's Chris too, but honestly for a medium rare filet. I don't think either place makes it much better than the other.

Oh and a tip I got for Mortons years ago, is the cajun ribeye....medium. Good stuff.

Forget the steakhouses. Order from Lobel's of NY (www.lobels.com). Grill yourself. I'm no grillmaster, but the Lobels steaks I grilled >>> any steakhouse steak (Japanese wagyu beef excluded, of course). And I've been to dozens of "premium" steakhouses ...
