I just received my confirmation number about 4-5 days ago. Although, I did check it out on the website under My BMW and proceeded to add a new vehicle to check out the process.

Is there a reason why it says it doesn't exist yet? Maybe I'm checking the wrong area..

You will need a production order number or a partial VIN to track this at the 800 number of the BMWUSA website. I'm not sure what the confirmation number can do for tracking.

I'm sorry, that number is actually my production number that I received.. Now I have to call BMW at the 800 number?

I went to the BMWUSA again and put that number in the production # area and nothing still comes up. I get another error saying its not in production yet or something.

Call the BMW automated 800 #, its usually updated faster than the website

Call the 800 number. Instead of talking to the message, hit '2' first. Then dial your order number when they prompt you to say the number. Then hit '1' when they ask if your number is a production order number or a VIN number.
