I used the SSTT for a couple of years, about 25k miles or so. It is great for what it is intended to do. Takes less than 1 minute to install or uninstall, adds about 40 rwhp and 50 rwtq, makes the car much quicker in the mid-range for sure. I enjoyed it until I wanted more power

If I have noticed a difference, its mainly under ~4500 rpm. I was merging onto the interstate yesterday and in 3rd gear it seemed to pull hard, but the car wasn't exactly slow before the install.I've givin a couple passengers a ride and neither could definately say if there was a difference or not.

Battery disconnect isn't required for SSTT install; just open the hood, then lock the car and let it sit for an hour. After that, install the SSTT by unplugging the manifold pressure sensor and plugging the SSTT in between. When that's done, unlock the car and it should be ready to go. If yours is the adjustable one, you can unscrew the cover on the rear of the unit, which has a longer cable to allow for mounting it where it's accessible, and use a small screwdriver to adjust between 0 (stock boost) and 100 (about 4 PSI over stock).

I had the SSTT original installed a few weeks ago and it completely messed with my car. I kept getting waste gate and over boost codes. I returned it to TurnerMS and got my money back. It was installed correctly and the ecu was "asleep". JB+ will be my next purchase...
Since I am still under warranty, do you guys really remove your hardware upgrades prior to routine maintenance? |

http://burgertuning.com/instructions...5i_Install.pdf As for the advice on going for JB4/COBB, or any other extreme tune, it would be wise of you to set aside at least 5K in savings, because you WILL be replacing stuff soon with the more extreme tunes. Word to the wise. |

I had the LPFP and HPFP changed (2nd time its been done) right before I installed the SSTT. I already sent it back.
I'm more focused on an exhaust and halo upgrade. With the JB4 do you guys leave it in when you go in for routine maintenance. I feel it would be a pain to remove/install each time. |
