What's wrong with this picture?
I have a 2007 328XI with Sport Package, including staggered tires. These are Bridgestone Potenza RFTs I just took off the car yesterday. The pic is of the front left, but the right one looks the same. They have maybe 10 - 15 K miles on them. Now, I know that the Bridgestone RFTs suck - I just replaced them with 4 Michelin Primacy. But, even given the suckiness that is the Potenza RFT, why would the front have such drastic inside wear with feathering on the outside? Is it just alignment? or something worse?

Bro, I have the same IDENTICAL issue... Its a combo of two things alignment and camber. A friend/BMW mechanic told me straight from factory all BMW's will always have neg. camber its just there design. My 2 fronts are on the same path and looking to get some new tires ASAP. Just dont know what to get NEXEN, PIRELLI, etc... Thanks for sharing,

I am not an expert or anything, but I had the same exact issue also in my rear set of tires. 275/35/19
The way I solved this was: 1- Alignment 2- Smaller tires 255/35/19 (Which sucks but for sure saved me from purchasing new set of tires every couple months) Good Luck |

That is from excessive toe wear. You'll want to get your alignment checked out immediately.
