Your local dealership would not do this unless you got the BMW performance springs.. But I'd suggest KW coilovers.. Pricey
But I love mine, If you don't want to spend too much money purchase some eibach springs or
Something

Then let them buy their own and drop it. Sounds like you were fine with it…

BMW Peformance suspension will only drop it .5 inch. Dinan stage 1 suspension will drop it per the following:

Quote:
The Stage 1 Suspension System for the 335i consists of Dinan Performance Springs, Koni Struts, Koni rear shocks and matching bumpstops. The system provides superior handling through increased grip and reduction of body roll, while maintaining a nicely dampened ride. The modestly lower ride height (1/2'' in front) gives the car a tastefully enhanced performance look as well.

Dropping it makes it look more aggressive and handle better but as others have said, it's your decision. The perfect drop is .75" with 1" being the max IMO otherwise you'll be scraping a lot. But that's all relative to your commuting.

I believe the 335is is already slightly lower than a standard 335... I occasionally scrape as it is..
