Will these fit 219m's with E90 Stock RFT on Pre-LCI E90 Sport?

Hi Guys,

Can you confirm I can run 18" 219m with 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 OEM RFT without any issues? I have a 2007 335i E90 Sport. As well, will the stretch on the tires look funny? Thanks.

PS. I have to run RFTs as my wife drives the car home at 1am in the morning a couple times a week. I would get all hell if she got a flat.

The wheels should have no issues on your ride. I have the same wheels on my e90 and they look like the car on this link.

However, I am running 235/40/18 front and 265/35/18 rear on Hankooks.

If the tire specs allow for the 225/255 setup, then there should be no issues. I just felt that a 235/265 setup would fit on the wheels better.

Ok, so I mounted the rims with the stock RFTs, 225/40/18 and 255/35/18. So far no rubbing. Rears are a tight fit but I have not experienced any rubbing. We will see what happens when loaded with passengers and going over speed bumps and inclinded parking gargages in SF.

Was also a little concerned about the stretch on the rears but looked up tire specs on Bridgestone website and it checks out ok. Tires can be mounted on up to 10" wide rims. will post pictures after car is washed.

Looks great. Any noticeable change in ride or performance?

I was thinking of doing the same thing, except I have the LCI with the wider track in the rear.

According to this post it looks like it might work though.
