...Hurricane Irene! I was supposed to pick up my car today, but the insurance company wouldn't provide coverage since our area is under a hurricane warning. I only have time to take delivery on the weekend so looks like I have to wait until next week. She's sitting at the dealership right now. The kicker is that the dealership is located in an area that is under mandatory evacuation. Hopefully the dealership won't get flooded.

That sucks. Just be patient and positive. I think you'll be all good. I personally wouldn't be concerned w flooding as much as flying poodles and cats. But in all seriousness the ground has been soaked and w the wind uprooting and broken tree limbs is the issue at hand. Either way good luck

My car arrived at the port of new jersey thursday evening, where I imagine it was held up because of the storm that passed over
![]() Apparently the port was closed, and my dealer has no idea when cars will start flowing out there again. I was hoping to have taken delivery today or tomorrow or so, but now who knows. Hopefully it's this week, I'm not sure I can wait anymore. |
