Anyway, tap water has been working perfect for me for a long time now.

Really, where can we get this water?

Well, I get it from work, but bottled water labeled as "distilled" should be excatly that, distilled, which means it has nothing in it except H2O. You can get this at most supermarkets, Walmart, Target, etc. Just make sure it says distilled, not purified.

One more thing: freshly (and perfectly) distilled water has an exactly neutral pH of 7.0, which is what you want. However, as distilled water sits around, especially exposed to the environment, it starts to absorb CO2 from the air, which turns to carbonic acid in solution, and the pH starts to drop...and can go down to pH 6 or even 5. This is starting to get acidic. Acidic water (indeed any acidic solutions) can start to leach stuff from the containers they are in. Therefore, the cheap LDPE bottles that supermarket water is sold in can start to leach plasticizers and other chemicals from the container into the water, and viola, it isn't truly pure any more...and before you think that you'll be fine if you don't open the bottle, LDPE is not completely airtight...air can go right through the container wall, albeit at fairly slow rates...and start to drop the pH of the distilled water before it's even opened for use. Best advice, buy only what you need, when you need it, to ensure that it is as fresh as possible.

Distiled water or water from my dehumidifier, I get about 1 gallon a day which I also use to top of my salt water tank.

Not sure if it affects Meth at all; would need to do some research.

Not true.
Here's the breakdown:
-Distilled is purified by evaporator water (which leaves impurities behind) and is condensed to give you 100% purity with zero contamination.
-Demineralized is run through cation-anion exchangers which remove hardness, Fe, Mg and Ca from the water stream. The hardness materials are replaced with sodium ions Na.
-Reverse Osmosis is a filter which removes large quantities of the previously mentioned contaminants. All these processes are used in power plants around the world, but RO units are always upstream of demineralizers and are not without the faults.

All in all, distilled is the best.

Cheers,
Big Brother

Grocery store. Dirt cheap.
Just don't drink large quantities of it. It will actually rob the good stuff in your body from ya.

I can't swear to it, but I think this is an urban myth. I have actually read that distilled water is fine to drink, but because it has no minerals it tastes awful, which is why people say not to drink it.

I don't believe drinking it has the ability to leach out any significant quantities of minerals or other ions from your gut... however I will defer to an expert on this.

No urban myth. Try drinking a couple gallons!

Where do you source your meth? I have some difficulties obtaining it in Germany or the surrounding countries at reasonable rates.
