put a little piece of wood/plastic that will prevent you to go into kickdown mode.

Put the car in manual mode, get it in the gear it needs to be in for the dyno run, then make sure when the dyno operator mashes the gas to begin the run, he doesn't push the gas pedal down far enough to activate the kickdown switch. If you look on the gas pedal, there is a button on the base. If that button is pressed, it will cause the transmission to down shift. You can feel the click when you press the gas all the way down then put a little pressure further. Just make sure the operator doesn't depress that switch and you'll be good to go.

Is the throttle open 100 percent if the pedal is not past kickdown?
I ask because i remember one of shiv's customers saying that at the track Unless the pedal is pushed passed kickdown it will not open fully. Is this true? |

We got it to work. The tech knew about the foot switch. Recorded 263 up and 288 lbs of torque. This is completely stock I'm gonna get a dinan2 flash and re-dyno. And I have a FMIC that I just purchased so I'll get a dyne after that too. Temperature today was 104 degrees.
