DP Gaskets Stock or Not?
Im installing my Cattless DPs this weekend.
i could get all 4 of the stock gaskets for about $50 from BMW or go with after markets.(the AR gaskets) or can i use the exsisting ones? |

Reusing the existing ones would probably be ok......but i always replace any gasket if im swapping parts out, they are just a little fragile so i always go the safe route. As far as bmw or aftermarket, id go with whichever is cheaper because they will both prob be good.....
good luck |

My gaskets between DPs and midpipes were toast, had to pay $38 for two at the stealer. The two gasket rings on the turbos don't need to be replaced as long as you are not too rough during removal and install-- at least that's what I heard from a forum sponsor that has done a couple dozen DP installs.

bought mine at autozone for $3 each... fit perfect. It was a little hard for the guy to find a match, but he did eventually. just took the DP in.
