so one of my dads workers also works at a car shop and i asked him a few questions about these mods today...

HID angel eyes (including installation) - $350 [they start at $200 but he explained why these are better]

HID fogs - $350

painting and installing the aero kit [front lip only] - $250 {he said they would get they VIN and order the paint directly from bmw]

quad pipes - he said it would void the insurance...is this true?? [and no im not trying to look like i have an m3, i just love the way quads look]

so what do you think of these prices? are they good, average, or am i being overcharged??

i also want to drop my car [like peppernicks...my god i love his car]..any idea how much that might cost??

I say BS on this one....the e92/e93 is just an H8 bulb i think () and this one sounds like BS!

But I don't have one...so i am not sure!

i already changed my bulbs and was telling him that they're not bright enough...his suggestion was if i wanted the angel eyes/fogs to be brighter i needed to get the HIDs...then he showed me his car with HIDs and they were reallyy bright, but they were too blue...if i end up getting the HIDs i want them to be more white-ish...

They are just an H8 bulb--and I think they are plenty bright enough.

MTEC Super Whites--about $30--no where near $300...

ohhh...my badd...lol...well he said that whatever they would install would draw its own power so i could use higher wattage bulbs..i dont think it was an led kit but im not sure

I think he's pulling number out of his ass, he's just quoting you generic prices for gneric mods. You should go to a shop that specilizes, or at least are familiar with BMW and/or other euro cars, don't go to any regular one where joe schmoe tells you 'yeah yeah, sure we do that'
