New E90 Owner

Hi guys,

This is Adi, Ive just purchased my first BMW, its an E90 '06 330i. Looking to know more about my car and for guidance in maintaining and cherishing it. I know this is the right place.

Any newbie tips?

i also recently purchased an 06 330i in april. it has 60k miles on it, monacco blue metallic, logic7,premium pack, sports pack. idrive, steptronic, xenon lights, leather interior. the cpo and free maintenance is over this ocotober. ive been looking to find an extended warranty but still deciding. many here say not to purchase and keep money saved for future maintenance and repairs. im still new here and have been looking for its realiability. i have found that many people so far have given it good reviews. i have already had SAS replaced and starter motor replaced under warranty. car drives great and i feel i will keep it for the long run. on a side note i also found that the 2006 e90 330i was only made for 1 year. nice to know you have a limited production vehicle.

Hey bro, congrats on the purchase... i have a E90 330 and is by far the best all around 3er I get 28mpg city and 35 highway which is amazing for a high performance I6. always stay on top of your servicing and alway put 93 octane

Congrats and welcome. I ve had mine since Feb 06 ans still love every minute of it. Btw, no issues. 330's are owesome cars.

those wheels looks like the 07 328i non-sport wheels. I like them better than the sport pck wheels for the 07s anyway!

congrats!! on the new car. enjoy driving it. drive it a little and see what kind of mods you want to do it. its all pesonal at the end. there are plenty articles and pics in this forum to get ideas.

Wish I knew more about the 330s but I can say Costco has (had? got mine about 4 months ago) an amazing BMW book on the history of the make and shows small history and info on all models. It is a collector style picture book on quality photo style paper. It has info on the 330 as well.

Nice ride! I had the same rims on my 07 328i with a staggered set up(sport pak) and with some spacers, really filled out the wells. gave it an awesome stance...

It is technically correct that the 2006 model was only made for one year.

But BMW continued to make (and still makes) the E90 330i, they just don't sell it in North America. Too bad, too, because it has been DI since 2007, so it has 268 HP versus 255 HP for our 2006.

Raina is in Dubai, so I suspect they've continued to offer the E90 330i there. Only in North America was the E90 330i just a one-year model, and we never even got the E92 330i, unfortunately.
