I am considering coveing the door pockets with carpet

Anyone else tired of the door pockets being continuously scuffed from you shoes from getting in and out of the car. I figure it would be pretty easy and not expensive to have the door pocket covered with carpet that matched the color of the door panel. What do you think?

I have seen guys that do the "clear bra" thing...they go to a plastics place or such and get a fat sheet for a few bucks...then install it on the places they scuff the most. When it gets overly scuffed...they take it off and make a new one.
If I see one of the guys who has it done I will ask what specific film they use.
