Fix for Shiny Leather Steering Wheel...

Wow is all I can say. My e90 has done 40,000 miles and even after cleaning with Poorboys Natural Look and Gliptone (both very good products) the wheel still had that 'aged' shine on it.

Just rubbed it gently with a bit of my wife's magic sponge and the results are AMAZING. this magic sponge is as cheap as chips apparently from a "poundshop" (whatever that is). Not sure how much it was?

Sorry I didn't take any before and after. I didn't expect it to work this well...

Trust me, it looks brand new and the leather is by no means compromised and the finish is A1. As new!!

This is the bad boy...

Autoglym has a similar product but i wouldn't use it on leather as it can damage the coating on the leather. A soft nail brush and the leather cleaner should have done the trick, works very well on the seats.

Steering wheel looks like new again though so you should be pleased.

I've read these work by being abrasive hence the comment above about leather seats, so I wouldn't get carried away and use it too often. The other comment I've heard is if used on leather seats is they look very clean to start with but then pick up dirt much faster than before...
