How do I tell if these BMW rims are OEM?
I want to buy a set of the 17" BMW style 161 rims and tires off someone and I was wondering how I could tell if they are authentic OEM BMW wheels....
I know the part number for the front is 36116775599 and rear is 36116775600 but will this all be stamped on the rear or is only part of the part number stamped on the back of the rim? Does anyone have a picture of the back of a rim of this style? What else should be back there? I know the BMW logo should be stamped....is there a specific place that it should be stamped or is it just anywhere? |

it will have bmw on the back of the spokes on the inside, also there will be a one or two digit number on the front of the wheel close to the center.
