i wanted to get a dme update but i have a catless downpipe installed and did not want to go through the trouble of taking it off.

i don't know if anyone tried a spacer
yet - that may work as well.

Yes, I know, but my point is I don't think that the dealer will care about that. Meaning, they won't void your warranty because of that. At least, where I live they just care about programing, DON'T TOUCH THE COMPUTER, that's all they tell me, any thing else, like catbacks, intakes, downpipes, etc, they don't care about that, and I don't think why they would either in were you take your car.

Btw with the can tool removed after doing a clear it takes about 30-40 miles for it to pop up a cel at least on my test.

In case of serious engine problems it can however put you in a weak position and they will probably dig deeper. Nobody remove a catted DP for the fun of it.
