Rear spoiler on a new E90? [newbie/first post]
Hello, everyone... this is my first post to e90post, which I've been reading for a while now but only today finally felt entitled to register for... since yesterday I down-paid and ordered a brand-new 2008 Monaco Blue 325i! (xenon, sunroof, a/c, steptronic, leather sports steering wheel and handbrake handle, 154 wheels, lights package, metallic paint, sensatec interior)
The thing is, I have a credit of a couple hundred USD with my dealer, for which he's offering me an OEM, body-color rear spoiler. I'd like to know what you guys think... not so much of the price (he's giving me list price), but of the car's looks with the spoiler on. I've seen pictures, but never seen one on the streets here in Colombia. Come to think about, that might be a good reason to get it, as my bimmer will look different from everyone else's. But OTOH this is my first BMW and I want to get everything right... Thanks for your opinions, and if anyone has a pic of a MB e90 with body-color OEM spoiler, please post! |

OEM rear spoiler, the one I have, is conservative. Even more conservative is the Hamann rear lip and the upcoming E90 M3 rear spoiler/lip. More aggressive options are the OEM CF spoiler, which sits higher and the ACS rear spoiler. Those are the only ones for the E90 that I personally would consider.

That's right, Motion, that's not the best angle, but I've seen other pics and I think it does look good. There aren't that many pics of the OEM spoiler in the forums, it seems, so I'll post mine when I get it... hopefully it'll help other people in the future who have the same question I did.

wow thanks ksfrogman, those are great pictures! I personally like the OEM CF one among all of them. But perhaps the car also needs to have some other mods (quad exhausts, mtech rear, etc) to make it look nice and complement the aggressive look.

yea imo i think 335i/duals/quads are the only way to make that oem cf&types look great.
