Start off with the vehicle. 2007 328xi no comfort access, has idrive (for whatever reason it might affect something, no idea).

Just went to go drive somewhere hit unlock button on key fob, car does not unlock. None of the four doors. Lights flash as if doors were unlocked. Hit lock button, actuators make sound lights flash as if car is locking. Hold unlock button, windows and sunroof open. Trunk button works too. Pull key out of fob, turn in driver side door, unlocks door. Get in lock car doors won't unlock when handles are pulled (manual unlock?) use button in center console will not unlock. Unlock driver side door with key in keylock and get in, push lock down on door. Hit center button, door unlocks can use handle to open. Otherwise I am locked inside my car and have to open windows and reach out to unlock it in the handle. I cannot get the front passenger door unlocked because there is no door handle lock.

Any ideas?


TL:DR - Doors won't unlock, but it's not the fob/fob battery/car battery.
