Static coming from rear speaker
I've got this static sound coming from my left rear mid-range driver that's on the rear deck. I took the grill cover off can hear the static coming from that driver. The tweeter sounds fine. I took the speaker out and it does not look damaged in any way. Not sure if it is the speaker or problem with the amp. I guess the next step would be to swap it with the right side speaker and if the problem is the speaker or the amp. If I apply a little pressure with one finger on the cone of the speaker, while the music is playing, the static goes away, so I'm guessing it's a problem with the speaker and not the amp.
Anyone have any issue like this? I did a search but did not find anything. I have an 06 330i with the premium sound system.
