Was told my baby would be ready the 25th, it was also on the Kassel but a call from the CA indicated that nothing was happening with the cars on the Kassel because of Turkey Day.

However VU said he picked his up on Friday, so they were obiously processing some cars. Oh well, maybe my car was shy and was hiding in the back of the pack... Only a few more days now I guess, it would have been nice to have it for the long weekend.

actually when i was there signing the papers for the car.. i overheard the dudes saying "hey where's so and so ship?" then some dude replied "it's passing chula vista right now" perhaps that was your ship enroute? i dunno.. but thats what i heard. unfortuantley the dealer did not know or care to mention what ship my car was on..

yeah so i officially got the car on friday the 25th. perhaps they are taking their time with your car for prep/ i kno i waited for 3 months. perhaps, there was a rush job on getting mycar.. i dunno. just giving you excuses hy your car is late.. lol.

so far car is cool. plays mp3 (still figuring out how to burn a cd to show up "right" on the navi screen). the steering wheel does have the bump grips, has all that door lock crap that people on the forum was yapping about for a few weeks.. if anyone wants me to check a feature.. hit me up.. i dont mind..

yes, it plays MP3 cds in the regular cd slot in the cock pit. i do not have a changer. mp3 files plays fine. the display on the Idrive screen is kinda weird though. random "id?" tags?

my car was built in the month of OCT. i think every e90 w/nav built before Sept cant play mp3s without the changer. i'm assuming any e90 w/Idrive built in OCT will be able to play mp3s in the regular slot in the cockpit.

i havent tried to burn a DVD Mp3 cd and stick it in the Nav - DVD slot yet.. so i'm not sure if it will work or not.

Just emailed my dealer and for some reason they said its at VPC and should have it in a day or two. This is very shocking as they originally told me it would not port until Dec 3. And I wouldn't get it until the 8th.

Can't wait to pick it up now.....

The Hojiin entered San Diego Bay last night at around 8:45pm....we saw it as we left a dinner party. Are you sure it's larger than Kassel? They looked equally huge to me....
