Has anyone recently ordered a S. Africa Build?

I was interested to hear from anyone who recently ordered a S. Africa build 3 series on what your delivery timeframe was like. I read some news releases that since April BMW has been shipping directly from SA to USA but most of the posts here talk about the SA builds going to Germany first. Thanks.

Just got one this week that was a mid June build. Figure about 2.5-3 months for an east coast delivery.

Thanks. This whole africa thing was unexpected, i should have ordered earlier.

I ordered on 8/25 and car is expected to be finished tomorrow (9/9)

Vehicle is from SA, and they are expecting another 3-4 weeks.

All in all, around 6 weeks......but this is an estimate.

When I put the order in, they noted a 6-8 wk lead time
