I really beat up this car with all my driving.

The 2011 328i vert is fully loaded EXCEPT for sport package. It is black metallic and saddle brown interior with walnut trim. Very nice. NAV, Harmon Kardon, etc. Cold/Convenience/Value/Premium packages.

MSRP on BMW USA's website was 56.

DEALER MSRP was $54,650 including an $875 destination fee.

I negotiated down to $50,841 CAP COST.

From there, they offered me a "loyalty credit rate" of .00195 MF, which is really a 4.5% APR. I think this is BS because the rate is still too high AND bmw just released 2012 pricing rates and .00195 money factor is standard

They think I don't know that and think ooohhh.... .00195 is so low. But it's the same fucking deal everyone is getting.

So anyway, residual is 66% since I'm doing 36mo/10K miles so that helps a bit.

They threw in floormats and key chains...lol.

Monthly payment is $650.

Is this a shit deal or ok?
If you're paying $650 a month, you're getting ripped. It depends on where you are leasing this vehicle. If you're near Florida I highly suggest you visit braman BMW and speak to Joe Urteaga, I got into a 2011 328i alpine white with saddle interior similar packaging as yours, I pay $411 a month with a $2,500 trade in. He won't bs you and will tell you like it is, and the finance manager Nestor was great too! There's always great deals out there, just look around!

Because if just dealing withthe sales guy was that bad, who knows how bad the finance manager was going to be.
This is what killed the deal. After I spoke to the finance manager...

When I went into the dealer again, they had already printed out the lease ready for me to sign. This was despite the fact that I had asked them to compare a 335i coupe for me with less options and see if it would be more affordable.

Anyway, they pulled me aside after we played more hardball and I talked to the finance manager who told me that THEY JUST REALIZED THAT MY CREDIT MISSED THEIR TOP TIER CUT OFF SLIGHTLY and they cannot honor the elite rates.

So they quoted me at a .002 money factor PLUS an extra 1400 down.

It doesn't end there.

My gf said she's co-sign (her credit is crap since she's only been working for 1 year) and BOOM - they came back and said he good news...

Basically they were fucking with us. Went in their to LOWER the price and they tell me due to "credit issues" the price is actually much higher. Girlfriend co-signs and all of a sudden they can give us a break and had good news that they can do $650 for us.

LOL what kind of psychology is this? Relative circumstances? One second you have a good deal, next your world is falling apart and then boom - they come in a save you....haha.

After that I realized that these people were scumbags. All games.

We live in Kentucky btw.

You sound like your gonna get taken for a ride no matter what. If you don't know where the monthly amount comes from, you'll never know if its a good deal or not.

When a dealer gives you a monthly quote straight off the bat, it's never the best deal. Even with the good dealerships.
