It looks like a Z4M Coupe back with a Ferrari 456 front.
Does look bloody gorgeous.

Very nice.
AS BMW makes blander and blander offerings (or some might say ugly with the new 1 series) a good looking car is breath of fresh air. And you just know that it will ride AND handle well. I've owned a few Jaguars in the past. Maybe again ... D.

I'd agree, but the 8C was never in the same price bracket as the Jag, and even s/hand is far more pricey than 50K (around +130K, the 8C if you're very, very lucky)
The Jag looks stunning and the performance ticks the box for me.

rear diffuser straight copy of the Aston Virage, rear screen copy of the aston V8 Vantage, front end current XK8, with some Datsun 350z theme running through it, a very confused style. Otherwise, lovely..

It looks like a bit like a parts bin special but some how it works.
For me, personally, I feel I'm just not of the right generation to buy a jag?? Maybe in 20 years?? But if I could get past the badge then this car definitely ticks the right buttons price/performance and looks wise!

If they can get it on sale with little visual/spec changes at that price point they'll absolutely fly out of the factory.. It's the car Jag need to appeal to a younger audience (of which I consider myself!!!).
I've never seen myself wanting a Jag (particularly after inheriting a 2.0d X Class company car with bodykit some years ago; utter pile of steaming turd) but I REALLY like this. |

At £50k, that could be a real possibility for me when it finally goes on sale in a couple of years. I'm warming more and more to the latest Jags....I keep watching the prices of XFR's - 2009/10 examples are mid-high £30k's (with just 7-10k miles on the clock) and even less for 2009 examples with 20k on the clock.
Forget your leggy and well used 2005 M5's for £20k....an 18-24 month old XFR with 20k on the clock for low £30k's really is a performance bargain! |
