Wow, thanks for all the responses guys! The message is overwhelmingly clear - I guess the stripes stay off!

I figured the majority would be against it, but I didn't expect it to be this unanimous!

Those striped would look ok if the car was more aggressive overall... aggressive offset 19s maybe.

But with stock M-Sport... I say no.

i bought some and had them for a year wondering wether to fit or not, in the end i did and now would do the same again if i bought anew car they look really good on the coupe

To the original poster:

The straight-on side view looks much better with stripes. But both corner views (front and rear) look better without stripes.

So, if you like stripes, you might consider tweaking them from what you have already. The fact that the rear end of the stripe tapers off before reaching the trunk lid is good. And that's exactly the problem with the front: don't let the stripe to bump into the headlight as it does now.
